ContactBook Plus — Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

ContactBook Plus is built to keep your information yours. The short version: your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share it.

What the app stores

The contacts you add or import (names, photos, birthdays, notes) and your reminder settings. All of it is saved only in the app's local storage on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. ContactBook Plus contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no trackers, and no developer server that receives your data. We cannot see what you enter into the app.

Contacts access: importing from your phone's contacts is optional and happens entirely on your device. Imported details are never uploaded anywhere.

Notifications: reminders are local notifications generated on your device. They may show a contact's first name on your lock screen; delete a contact to stop its reminders.

Purchases

ContactBook Plus offers an optional Plus subscription with a one-week free trial processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Manage or cancel in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual entries inside the app at any time. Deleting the app from your device permanently removes all of its data.

Children

ContactBook Plus is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children — it does not collect information at all.

Changes

If a future version changes any of the above (for example, optional sync), this policy will be updated first and the change will be called out in the App Store release notes.
